Kristen Stewart was born and raised in Los Angeles.
Her father, John Stewart, is a director and television producer who has worked for Fox. Her mother, Jules Mann-Stewart is a script supervisor originally from Maroochydore, Queensland, Australia.
After a year of audition, Stewart was the first role in a nonspeaking part in the movie the thirteenth year. So she had a different role in the movie The Flintstones in Viva Rock Vegas "ring toss girl."
